London, UK, January 31, 2017 – For so many reasons it’s the best of times to be a learning professional. Rapid advancements in learning technologies and processes in a vast and varied array of areas (virtual reality, responsive content design, xAPI, and distributed content development, to name just a few) have opened up a world of learning possibilities.
dominKnow Learning Systems will be celebrating and demonstrating these advancements at Learning Technologies UK, stand M1.
Imagine the Possibilities of Virtual Reality (VR) Training
Not very long ago VR training was just a futuristic fantasy — fun for the science fiction crowd to ponder, but not in the realm of reality for learning and development organizations. With the rapid drop in the cost of virtual reality equipment, this is quickly changing. Stop by Stand M1 for a fun and interactive VR experience so you can start imagining the impacts virtual reality will have on your training programs going forward. It’s much closer than you think!
Tracking all Types of Learning Experiences
The fact there are more than 20 xAPI vendors at this year’s Learning Technologies Conference demonstrates just how rapidly the standard is developing. dominKnow was one of the very first adopters of the standard that allows trainers to deploy several new capabilities that were not supported with SCORM. Capabilities such as:
• Taking and tracking e-learning outside of the web browser
• Taking and tracking e-learning in native mobile applications
• The ability to track games and simulations
• The ability to track real-world performance
On Wednesday, 1 February from 19:30 to 21:00 (GMT), dominKnow will be participating in an xAPI Barcamp. This is an informal event that boasts a stellar line-up of seven speakers who will be sharing insights into how xAPI is being developed and how it is being used in workplace learning. You can register for free tickets to the event here.
In addition to the Barcamp, dominKnow is bringing their hugely popular version of xAPI Against Humanity to the show. Make sure you stop by their booth to check out this fun and interactive game, or go here to start playing now.
Single-source, Responsive Content Creation for Teams
At this year’s show the dominKnow team will be demonstrating the latest version of the dominKnow Platform — their content authoring and publishing solution that allows organizations to collaboratively gather, create, review, share, reuse, and deliver content that can be used to help learners at multiple times of need. The platform supports the creation and delivery of single-source, true-responsive, multi-purpose content that is easily monitored and measured — so organizations can see who is using what content, and how effective the learning interaction has been.
Drop by the dominKnow booth to see the dominKnow Platform in action, or go to www.dominKnow.com to learn more.
