Orlando, FLA, 24 March 2010 -- dominKnow Learning Systems is putting its latest mobile learning solution into the hands of visitors at Learning Solutions 2010 March 24-25.
dominKnow Mobile leverages the dominKnow LCMS and the dominKnow Learning Center to give users both a content creation and a delivery solution for putting learning in the hands of their on-the-go workforce on smart phones such as iPhone, Blackberry, Palm Pre and Pixi and Android devices.
“There are many visions of what mobile learning can be, from performance support to just in time training to full online courses including assessments. The dominKnow Mobile solution is a great tool to support any and all of these approaches,” said Luke Hickey, dominKnow CEO.
dominKnow Mobile uses the dominKnow LCMS’s integrated Authoring Tool to create elearning content, leveraging the LCMS’s asset repository for content re-use. An inline preview feature allows authors to quickly view content on specific smart phones, ensuring content accuracy and appearance.
Courses are fully tracked for completion, including assessment results. Learners can also get quick access to specific content within a course as well as access to support documentation such as PDF files.
dominKnow Mobile can work in conjunction with any third-party Learning Management System (LMS), including offerings from Saba, SumTotal, GeoLearning, and more. It is available with either the dominKnow LCMS Enterprise or workgroup editions.
Visitors at Learning Solutions 2010 can put dominKnow Mobile to the test at booth 410. Learning Solutions Conference and Expo 2010, organized by the Elearning Guild, is being hosted at Hilton in the Walt Disney Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
