Author Once, Deliver to Any Screen with Claro Flow — Beta Program Registration Starts Today
June 18, 2013

San José CA, mLearnCon, June 18, 2013 – With mobile internet traffic set to pass that of the desktop sometime in 2013, providing seamless content access to a dispersed and mobile work force is more critical than ever. This creates a huge challenge for developers charged with delivering eLearning and mLearning in a cost effective and timely way.

There is no way to guess how someone is going to consume learning. They may use a desktop, a tablet, or a smartphone — or they may use all three!  And in what size, form factor, orientation, or context will they use?  Content authors can’t anticipate all the potential possibilities — let alone create versions to satisfy them all.

Thanks to Claro Flow, they no longer have to.

Claro Flow is content authoring software that outputs responsive, HTML-5 conformant content that automatically adjust to the screen a user views it on.

“Responsive design is a game-changer for learning, just like it has been for the web,” says dominKnow CEO Luke Hickey. “With Claro Flow, authors can build once and deliver to any screen. And as they design, they remain in full control of the content experience for any device. While other tools are focused on ‘putting elearning on an iPad’, our position has always been to provide tools that leverage mobile regardless of operating system or form factor.”

With todays tools developers have to build multiple versions of their content if they want to deliver effective training — which is time consuming and costly. With Claro Flow, authors build their content and design how it will flow and adapt depending on the screen it is viewed on. This allows for the creation of an optimized learning experience on any device — no matter the size.

“Day by day the number of devices and platforms your content has to work on grows,” says Hickey. “Responsive content design represents a fundamental shift in how learning will be built going forward. We’re very proud that dominKnow is again at the forefront of this new direction, and even happier to be bringing this innovation to eLearning. Today we are pleased to announce our Beta signup program for Claro Flow.”

  • Workflow and collaboration tools
  • Publish content anywhere — online, third-party LMS, desktop, performance support training, and smartphone or tablet (iOS, Blackberry, Palm, Windows & Android) with HTML 5 compliant content
  • Claro’s authoring UI is available in 60+ languages
  • Fully SCORM, AICC, Tin Can(xAPI), PENS and Section 508 conformant — offering future-proof compatibility with existing and emerging standards
