Do I download dominKnow Claro software or install it from a disk?

Claro is a web-based tool, so there's no need to download anything. You just log into your organization's Claro site using your favourite browser and create your learning and mlearning course projects.

Can I access Claro software on more than one computer?

Your Claro account can be accessed from any computer connected to the Internet - just open up a browser window, go to your organization's Claro site and log in. This means you'll never lose any content if your computer crashes. And you can always get work done, whether you have your own computer handy or not.

Can I transfer a license from one person to another?

Claro accounts are easily transferable - so if a team member leaves your organization, you just deactivate their Claro access. As soon as you know who will be replacing them, you just add the new team member to Claro and they can begin working right away.

Does Claro work on a Mac?

For sure! Mac users can author in Claro using Safari, Firefox or Google Chrome.

What type of support comes with Claro?

Claro support comes in two flavours, Standard and Premium. Every Claro licence includes Standard support, but many users prefer to have the options that Premium support provides. For full details, here's a link to the Support page on our website

How do I buy more storage space?

Claro clients who need more storage space can use the Support Forum within their Claro site to request more storage space.

Where can I find the serial numbers for my existing products?

Since Claro is a web-based tool, there are no serial numbers.

How can I find and contact my sales rep?

If you are an existing Claro user, go to the Support Forum within Claro and send us a message. If you aren't yet a Claro user, use the Contact Us form right here on this website to send us a message.

If I cancel my account how do I save my data?

Claro courses are published out as HTML5-compliant content, and can be edited in other HTML editing tools. So, if you choose to cancel your Claro account you just publish out your courses and you can still use other tools to make changes as time goes on.

Can I park my service and have my data stored until I need to use Claro in the future?

Yes, dominKnow offers a small monthly storage service that you can use to have your courses and projects saved until you need them in the future. For more info please contact your sales rep.

How can I get customized training for my organization?

Is Claro 508 conformant?

The courses you create in Claro are published as HTML5-compliant content, which means that you don't need to create separate courses for different brands of mobile device.

Does Claro publish to Flash (SWF)?

No, Claro is committed to the future and open standards as such we only support publishing to HTML5 and other open standards that don't lock you into a specific tool or platform.

What browsers does Claro support?

Claro support all major browsers, the newer the better, for authoring courses. Windows users can author in Chrome, Firefox and IE8+. Mac OS users can author in Safari, Chrome and Firefox.
Published courses support Chrome, Firefox, IE6+ and Safari desktop browsers and the mobile browser that ships with the device's operating system. The same published course will automatically adapt to support the best experience on the browser that is running it. In the case of older versions of IE, there will be differences in the playback experience.
